Leadership & Paying It Forward March 2025

Thank you very much for taking an interest in The Leadership Academy Breakfast Club event this month. We really appreciate your interest and your time.

A particular thanks to our speakers Damien Quinn of Speire Nua and Dr Jennifer Okeke of the National Womens Council.

Damien would love to connect with you all on his LinkedIn I promised I’d share his profile!

It was a wonderful conversation with two authentic and genuine leaders and we really appreciate the sharing their time and experience with us. Some thoughts we loved was:

  • On both of their journies, both speakers encountered people who were more interested in where they could be and not where they were, be the person who takes a chance on someone who needs it.
  • Marginalised people have already faced their share of challenges, make sure that your organisation is not putting more challenges in the way like expecting people to work for free
  • Both of them are hugely committed to advocating for the people coming behind them because they remembered that hopelessness and they are committed to showing people anything is possible

Thank you for sharing your stories.
