Call for Expert Expression of Interest: The CEO Masterclass Series

As part of our suite of offerings for The Leadership Academy this coming year we will be piloting a CEO Masterclass Series for leaders in our sector.  

The Masterclasses will be curated into a series to provide a well-rounded and holistic programme of learning objectives for both new and experienced CEOs in the nonprofit sector and we would love your input! 

What is it?

The Wheel has a proud tradition of providing a wide range of training to all levels of staff in the sector. 

Now in conjunction with The Leadership Academy, we are preparing a CEO Masterclass Series, a series of high-level masterclasses designed to support CEO’s in uplevelling their skills in a suite of topics curated for leaders in the sector. 

Who is it for? 

The series will be designed for Chief Executive Officers on Nonprofit Organisations as well as Chairs and Trustees of Boards of Nonprofit organisations 

When is it? 

The Masterclasses will be scheduled in advance and run monthly from Autumn 2025 to April 2026 with a break in December. 

Leaders who purchase the full series will be invited to an invite-only networking event in May 2026. 

What format will the Masterclasses take? 

The Masterclasses will be 4-hour long, online workshops delivered by organisations and individuals with a high level of specialist expertise and are familiar with working with leaders in our sector. 

It is assumed attendees will have a basic working knowledge of the concept and these masterclasses will be high-level, advanced masterclasses that will leave attendees with a deeper understanding of the concept at hand as well as tangible outputs to resource themselves going forward such as further reading, draft documents or templates. 

What topics will we cover? 

Topics will be directly relevant to Senior management in the sector, particularly CEO’s. Initial modules considered include: 

• Strategic Planning 

• Operational Planning 

• Crisis communications 

• AI 

• Cyber security 

• Organisational Culture 

• Philanthropy 

• Board appraisals/Boards behaving badly 

• Mentoring and coaching for leaders 

We will lean on the expertise of the consultants approached for feed-in and to help flesh out relevant topics  

Who are you?

You are an expert in a subject area of high importance to a CEO of an Irish nonprofit organisation. You may work alone, in a team or for an organisation, once the topic is relevant. You have proven track record working with our target group and will be able to provide testimonials for your previous work.

July 2025: Finalise schedule 

Promote Series 

Sept 2025: Run Series
