We have had a really great response to our partnership with Public Affairs Ireland (PAI) to bring their fabulous offerings to the sector and we are delighted they are happy to keep offering a fabulous 33% discount on a wide range of their courses. (Click here for list)
So far they have great take up in Policy Development, Governance and other transversal skills like minute taking
Public Affairs Ireland have been the leading figure in Training and Development for the Public sector for over 20 years and they are a multi-award-wining provider of learning and development options. While their courses are designed with the Public Sector in mind, they are available to anyone wishing to attend.
PAI offer a huge range of courses, available in a wide range of formats from online, to face to face and they also engage in developing tailored training for organisations who need something bespoke.
We are most excited by the types of courses being offered by the PAI and really hope many of you will avail yourself of their very generous 33% discount that they are offering to members of The Wheel through the Leadership Academy.
They have some excellent leadership options and options for leaders such as:
Neurodiversity refers to the different ways the brain can work and interpret information. In Ireland, an estimated 4% (some worldwide figures suggest this figure is closer to 15%/20%) of the population are considered neurodiverse, which includes Autism, Dyspraxia, Dyslexia, Attention Deficit Disorders and Obsessive-compulsive Disorders.
Despite most companies having an increasing focus on equality, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) in the workplace, the neurodivergent group can often be overlooked in the workplace.
This half-day programme is tailored for HR professionals, line managers, and employee relations officers, providing essential tools to support neurodivergent employees both legally and practically.
This programme is designed to equip participants with invaluable insights, tools, and techniques essential for proficiently leading individuals and teams within the context of a blended working environment. Its focal points include motivating both individuals and teams to attain peak performance, enhancing overall performance through adept communication and constructive feedback, and facilitating opportunities for continuous learning and career development.
Qualities of a high performing team include delivering on commitment, consistancy and reliability and the aim of this seminar is to demonstrate and outline the important elements that team leaders should be aware of in terms of their own leadership style to ensure their team and organisation are performing to it’s highest ability.
Whatever your needs there is a good chance PAI have an offering to cover it, and many of their offerings are available for a 33% discount if you mention the leadership academy when you apply. A full list of the course with discounts available is available HERE
We expect this offer to be particularly useful to HR and People managers looking for options to upskill their teams in targeted areas. So if you are an individual interested in one of these courses or if you would like to make arrangements for your staff or team, please email registrations@pai.ie and mention the Leadership Academy. Jenny Coonan is our nominated contact, and they will be happy to provide details on upcoming programmes in the training calendar, or if you would like more info. Alternatively, you can call PAI’s main office number on (01) 877 3910 and get more information.
*Leadership Academy Users are staff and volunteers of any community and voluntary organisation, charity or social enterprise. If you are unsure if you qualify for a discount, please email Sharon@wheel.ie. Terms and conditions do apply.
